Dr. Naram's StoryIn his own words, Dr. Pankaj Naram, was a qualified Ayurvedic doctor more than twenty three years ago. At that time he used to treat his patients in the traditional way of prescribing medicines after going through the case history of the patient and making a few assumptions. He did not have what you would exactly call a roaring practice. Although he was in his early twenties, he was overweight, nearing baldness and wore thick glasses. He was also financially broke, mentally exhausted and on the verge of leaving the profession out of sheer frustration. That's when a chance meeting with a 115-year old Tibetan monk named Guru Ramdas transformed his life in such a way that Dr. Naram has dedicated the past twenty four years to serving humanity through authentic Ayurveda. But the Tibetan monk did not agree to become his mentor and tutor so easily. He made Dr. Naram come back to him a hundred times, day after day, just to test his intentions and patience. When Dr. Naram came back after the 100th day, utterly tired, exhausted and on the verge of a nervous breakdown, the master finally relented. He taught Dr. Naram the science and art of pulse reading through which you instantly discern what's really wrong with the patient. Today Dr. Pankaj Naram is a highly-gifted master in the timeless science of Ayurveda – and head of a 2000-year old unbroken lineage that originates from Jeevaka, the personal physician of Lord Gautam Buddha. He has won numerous awards for his pioneering and humanitarian work, including International Man of the Year. His skill in pulse diagnosis and Marma Chikitsa are unparalleled. And today, Dr. Naram is a 45-plus energetic man with glowing health and zero flab. He is a living example of what he preaches and practices in life. His work and example have inspired thousands of people to reach for and attain – a healthy mind in a healthy body. |
