By working on these points, the therapist can release blockages and restore the free flow of energy to specific areas and organs, as well as to the whole body. Tensions are eased, and circulation and elimination is improved. Blood is circulated faster than normal and, as a result, cleansing of the Lymphatic system and increased oxygenation of the blood occurs. This gentle therapy encourages the body to heal itself at its own pace, often counteracting a lifetime of misuse. The by-product of this is a more relaxed body and a general feeling of well-being. Reflexology is powerful preventative health care. In discovering problems in our feet long before they become serious in the rest of our body we are able to take more control over our own health and health care.
Students receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion for 16 Hours of Continuing Education Units which counts toward 500 Hour National Certification.
