| This course represents the epitome of a synthesis of ancient Eastern natural healing systems with a state-of-the-art mind/body Western medicine.
The objective of this course is to provide an integrated approach to health and wellness with skills and techniques in the field of mind/body healing. This is accomplished through learning holistic healing modalities and hands-on technique utilization during class. Graduates to work in a professional health care setting or establish a private practice.
Classes meet on the weekends, evenings or days in an independent modular format for 50 weeks.
This Course with an emphasis on the mind/body/spirit/emotion connection as it relates to holistic studies, consists of 500 classroom hours. Included is a 220 hours of an intern/externship for a total of 720 hours.
A recommended book list is given to those students who desire the most comprehensive knowledge and understanding of holistic health care and spiritual understanding. Pen and paper are required for note taking.
This course combines lecture, demonstrations, techniques, and professional skills, along with hands-on experiences in the classroom, as well as an intern/externship. This course equally focuses between the goals of mastering clinical skills as well as learning and implementing successful business practices.
This class utilizes a hands-on approach. Students' practice the skills and techniques just introduced during class lectures and demonstrations. Refinement is done during the instructor's rounds and later discussed as an entire class. Individual attention is given to guide the student's progress.
A diploma is awarded upon satisfactory completion of this course as a Alternative Health Practitioner.
