Offered as a herbal training course providing instruction in how to acquire high-quality herbs, store, and use according to the desired physical and emotional effects for the client’s needs. Through nutritional supplement and topical application the student learns how to benefit from the use of herbs and how to enhance well-being and wellness. This course is ideally suited for those wishing to learn advanced aspects of herbology for comprehensive therapeutic use and the specific body systems, whether for personal well being or professional use.
Class meets two evenings a week for four months or weekends for four months. Taught in an independent modular format.
The objective of this course is to provide a continuance of education and integrating of skills and techniques in the field of herbology.

This class utilizes a “hands-on” approach. Students’ pair into groups to practice the tools and techniques just introduced during class lecture and demonstration. Refinement is conducted during the instructor’s rounds and later discussed as an entire class.
A Diploma upon satisfactory completion of this course is awarded as a Master Herbal Practitioner.
Graduates can utilize herbology as a career and become self-employed or find employment within herb shops, health food stores or with alternative health care professionals.
