California Institute of the Healing Arts & Sciences is granted institutional approval from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education pursuant to California education Code Section 94915. The Bureau approval means that the institution and its operations comply with the standards established under law for occupational instruction by private postsecondary educational institutions. Institutional approval must be re-approved every three years and is subject to continuing review.

CIHAS is approved under the Board of Registered Nurses Provider Number 11606 to offer continuing education for nurses.

CIHAS is approved under Provisions of Title 38, United States Code, to provide training for veterans and other eligible persons. Eligible prospective students may apply for benefits by calling the VA office.

Upon Successful Completion, a Diploma or Certificate is awarded.
